I do not understand what it is like to have my job performance be easily quantifiable and rankable alongside others.

I do not understand what it is like to give up all pretense of a normal childhood because I showed natural prowess at something.

I do not understand what it is like to pursue that thing with such determination that it is the only thing I am good at.

I do not understand what it is like to engage in that pursuit knowing that I will retire from that one thing by the age of thirty five, and if I do not earn enough money doing this thing by then, I will have to find some other means of making a living.

I do not understand what it is like to have to live up to the expectations of almost single-handedly representing my country at major conferences for my job.

I do not understand what it is like to be the single best person in the world at one aspect of my job, but not the best at anything else.

I do not understand what it is like to remake my body as a way of getting better at my job, and then have to completely adjust the way I do my job around my new body.

I do not understand what it is like to be exceptionally good looking, exceptionally rich and married to a super model.

I do not understand what it is like to be one of the best at what I do, but have the misfortune to live at a time where I am one year younger than the greatest of all time and four years older than a man who may turn out to be even better than that.

In other words, I do not understand what it is like to be Andy Roddick. He is a player I have recently gone from loathing to having an odd kind of respect for, a man who rose very far very fast very young and has hovered on the edge of greatness. It's looking increasingly like he won't ever achieve it, and unless Nadal's body completely gives out, the chances Roddick will win more than one major in his career are slim. A series of injuries and illnesses (including mononucleosis this year) certainly haven't helped. I find it admirable that he realized his style of play was no longer working and so he remade himself, losing tons of weight, getting a new coaching staff, and dealing with losing matches while he adjusted to his new body.

The big story from last night's game (beyond the upset) will of course be Roddick's epic temper tantrum over a correctly called but incorrectly explained foot fault. What makes it hard to root for and empathize with Andy Roddick is his habit of being, for lack of a less helpful term, a complete dick on the court when he's disputing calls. He does not do this with the temperamental, borderline-insane flair that made McEnroe thrilling to watch. He's just kind of a jerk, imperiously using his own experience to try to dispute calls, regularly asking "Have you ever seen me do X?" as if by having a longer career he deserves the ability to decide for himself what the call should be.

Last night, deep in the hole of the third set, Roddick appeared to be throwing a fit almost so he could get the energy up to keep going. And the fit went, through several games and a commercial break. While unlike Serena Williams, he never threatened anyone, he still protested with theatrical flair, mocking the physical impossibility of the call and telling the chair that he must have gotten his line judges from 1-800-rent-a-ref. The commentators (particularly the brothers McEnroe) ate it up, but watching here in Minneapolis, I could see that whatever temporary boost to Roddick's energy came from it, ultimately he was sunk. Having watched Andy Roddick for the last few years, I can't help but agree with some of my friends that the great barrier to Roddick's game is Roddick's attitude. He's frequently gracious and self-effacing and funny off the court. Compare, for example, any ad with Roddick in it to any ad with Federer in it. The former are generally goofy (Roddick doesn't know how to use the internet!) whereas the latter, even when humorous, are all about Federer being a better (and richer) person than you. In interviews as well, Roddick comes across well. But-- his Wimbledon loss to Federer notwithstanding-- the pressures of the court always seem to get to him.

With Arsenal, he won the Premier League twice (in 2002 and 2004), and the FA Cup three times (in 2002, 2003 and 2005). Although injured for much of the 2005-06 season, he recovered in time to play in Arsenal's UEFA Champions League Final defeat to Barcelona at the end of the season. In total he made 228 first-team appearances for Arsenal, scoring 9 goals.

Transfer saga
In 2005, Cole made inappropriate contact with league rivals Chelsea over a possible move, without alerting Arsenal to the fact, in a case of "tapping-up". Found guilty, he was fined £100,000 by the Premier League on 2 June 2005 for a meeting in a hotel in January 2005 between himself, the Chelsea manager José Mourinho, Chelsea chief executive, Peter Kenyon, and his agent Jonathan Barnett. An appeal in August 2005 did not reject the guilty verdict, but his fine was reduced to £75,000. Chelsea were also fined £300,000 and Mourinho was fined £200,000, reduced on appeal in August 2005 to £75,000.

Cole signed a one year extension to his contract on 18 July 2005, but a year later departed from the club in acrimonious circumstances. On 15 July 2006, Cole launched a verbal attack on Arsenal; in his autobiography, quoted in The Sun, Cole claimed that the Arsenal board had treated him as a "scapegoat" and that they had "fed him to the sharks" over the tapping up affair. Cole was deliberately left out of Arsenal's 2006-07 team photograph, refuelling press speculation that he would become a Chelsea player.

On 28 July, Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein had confirmed that Arsenal and Chelsea had been in "civil talks" about the player. Chelsea insisted they would not raise their £16million bid for the left back, but Arsenal held out for at a higher valuation of £25million. Negotiations continued throughout August and looked to be heading for deadlock, but eventually Cole signed for Chelsea on August 31 for a fee of £5million, with William Gallas also going the other way. The deal was closed after the transfer window had officially ended, and was not confirmed until an hour and a half after the deadline had passed.

International career
Cole has played for England at youth and senior levels. He was capped for the England U-20 team at the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship alongside Stuart Taylor, Peter Crouch, Andy Johnson and Matthew Etherington. However, the team finished bottom of their group, suffering three defeats without scoring any goals. He also made four appearances for England under-21s, scoring once.

Cole made his senior England début against Albania, on March 28, 2001. He played for England at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2004, and was named as one of four England players in the all-star squad for the latter tournament. Cole was also an ever-present for England in the 2006 FIFA World Cup; in their second round match against Ecuador he made a crucial block, deflecting Carlos Tenorio's shot onto the crossbar. The match ended with England winning 1-0, but England were knocked out on penalties by Portugal in the quarter-finals. As of November 15, 2006, he has 57 caps for England, though he has never scored an international goal.

Personal life
In 2005 he became engaged to Cheryl Tweedy, a member of the British chart-topping act Girls Aloud. He and Tweedy were married at Wrotham Park, just north of Barnet, Hertfordshire on 15 July 2006. The two currently live in a mansion in Hampstead that used to belong to Patrick Vieira.

In 2006, Cole sued the News of the World and The Sun newspapers for libel after they printed reports of a Premiership footballer and a music DJ engaged in a "homosexual orgy", even though Cole was not specifically named in any of the stories; however, a pixellated photograph of Cole with his likeness removed was printed. Both the News of the World and The Sun later retracted the allegations after legal pressure and paid an undisclosed amount of damages to Cole.

Cole has recently released an autobiography, My Defence, which sold only 4,000 copies in the first six weeks of release. Based on the advance he received, it would require 75,000 copies to be sold before the publisher would break even. Cole's book has been subject to criticism from several Arsenal players, including Jens Lehmann,; at the same time, Arsenal fans launched a campaign on the world wide web encouraging people to purchase a book by former Arsenal player Perry Groves, in an attempt to outsell Cole's.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (born 21 March 1980 in Porto Alegre), commonly known as Ronaldinho (Brazilian Portuguese: [ʁonaɫˈdʒĩɲu]) or Ronaldinho Gaúcho, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Italian Serie A club A.C. Milan and the Brazilian national team. He is widely regarded as one of the most gifted footballers of his generation. He is a free-kick specialist and has exceptional dribbling ability.

Ronaldinho, Portuguese for "Little Ronaldo," is known in Brazil by the nickname "Gaúcho," in order to distinguish him from Ronaldo, who was already called "Ronaldinho" in Brazil. Ronaldo simply went by his first name upon his move to Europe, thereby allowing Ronaldinho to drop the "Gaúcho" and remain simply as Ronaldinho.

Prior to his move to Milan, he played for Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, with whom he won his first Champions League in 2006 and he won the Ballon d'Or in 2005. He became a Spanish citizen in January 2007.

Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, OIH, (Portuguese pronunciation: [kɾɨʃtiˈɐnu ʁuˈnaɫdu]; born 5 February 1985), commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a winger or a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid and serves as captain of the Portuguese national team. Ronaldo currently holds the distinction of being the most expensive player in football history after being transferred from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a transfer deal worth £80 million (€94m, US$132m). In addition, his contract with Real Madrid, in which he is to be paid £11 million per year over the following six years, makes him the highest paid football player in the world.

Ronaldo began his career as a youth player for Andorinha, where he played for two years, then moved to Nacional. In 1997, he made a move to Portuguese giants Sporting CP. Ronaldo's precocious talent caught the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and he signed the 18-year-old for £12.24 million in 2003. The following season, Ronaldo won his first club honour, the FA Cup, and reached the Euro 2004 final with Portugal, in which tournament he scored his first international goal.

In 2008, Ronaldo won the Champions League with United, and was named player of the tournament. He was named the FIFPro World Player of the Year[4] and the FIFA World Player of the Year, in addition to becoming Manchester United's first Ballon d'Or winner in 40 years. Three-time Ballon d'Or winner Johan Cruyff said in an interview on 2 April 2008, "Ronaldo is better than George Best and Denis Law, who were two brilliant and great players in the history of United

However, the tennis star made it clear that she play for India while Shoaib will play for Pakistan.
“I will decide on career course after playing in Olympics in 2012,” said Sania.

“I’m very happy, we’re all very happy,” Mirza told reporters in her home town of Hyderabad.
